put on repeat — add hotness — black pride

Several weeks ago, I read on a certain website (Rod 2.0 Beta probably, though I can’t find the link to the bit), that an NBA basketball player was being hot and heavy with his boyfriend and was about to announce to the world that he was gay.

Fat chance, so I thought.  The likelihood that that would happen was slim to none.

And it still isn’t "true" in the most nit-picky of ways.  He’s a former NBA-er.  So yet again, an active member of a professional sports team in America hasn’t been able to come forward.  It will happen one day, but probably not soon.  Not if the stupid reactions of the NFL players to the SNICKERS’ commercials on the masterfood website really are the indications of the political environment of pro-sports.  Though LeBron James’ comments about honesty is truly a topic for discussion. And considering that he’s not a native American, the issue of "European-ness" and "Not our American boys" is sure to surface in defense of rampant homophobia.Amaechi_1

Back to my original thought.
John Amaechi — super hot.
That is all.
Thanks G-d he plays for our team.
